One of the gastronomic highlights of the town of Pápa, Gólyafészek Vendéglő, was opened in 1998 by my parents at 45 Jókai Street. Over the past nearly three decades, the restaurant has grown into a family business. During this time, we have continuously strived for renewal. Our offerings have evolved to meet the needs of our guests as well as the dynamically developing European trends. In addition to traditional Hungarian dishes, our menu also features international flavors.

Our restaurant combines an intimate atmosphere with a traditional interior, making it popular for private events, gatherings, and corporate meetings alike. We constantly strive for excellent quality, confident that the harmony of our dishes and the attentive care and experience of our staff will earn the appreciation of our guests. For us, the most important thing is a satisfied guest. We share the philosophy of Károly Gundel, a guiding star of Hungarian gastronomy: "I do not feel like a restaurateur who sells food and drinks for money, but as a Hungarian host whose home is honored by the visit of guests."
