Restaurant Öreg Tanyacsárda (Lajosmizse) in Lajosmizse

The Old Tanyacsárda restaurant is situated between the towns of Kecskemét and Lajosmizse, just off main road 5.

Those unfamiliar with country life can indulge in a genuine countryside atmosphere at the Old Tanyacsárda. Robust rural furniture, unique pottery, hand-sewn blue-dyed tablecloths, hand painted plates and our unsurpassable cuisine are all characteristics of our restaurant.
Specialities of our master chefs include Pork knuckles baked in own skin with potatoes a’la „baker”, Roast meat a’la Robber, as our friend, János Bozsó, the painter used to prepare it, and Flambéed milk pie.
These dishes have been the hallmark of Tanyacsárda for nearly four decades.
Our menu includes traditional recipes and weekly specials, both representing distinctive Hungarian flavours.
