Restaurant Yama Budapest in Budapest

The food was good and fresh but the portions where too tiny. After the meal we were still hungry. The sushi was fresh but really nothing special. According to the price even the special menu was not really worthy without mentioning the real prices. Also the drinks, we were hoping for something with more flavour, but it was just a nice decoration. The ambience was good tho, music, interior design and service. Quite disappointed to be honest.

Yama feels more like a small meal before going clubbing. The atmosphere was spectacular. The manager was there to welcome people. He introduced himself when we entered. They care a lot about presentation and totally instagram worthy. I tried out the non-vegetarian option which includes: miso soup, salmon and something rolls, wagyu burger and a cheesecake. The presentation was amazing. They explained the details into the making which makes the experience more memorable. The servers come to check on us frequently. That’s very much appreciated but maybe a little too little privacy for me. They also get your coat when you enter. Everyone was happy to serve and take care of the guests request. Though, the portion size was a bit small. I wasn’t full, just enough but for my friend she’s very full.

Fantasztikus felszolgálás,kifogástalan ételek. Ennek a kezdeményezésnek pont ez lenne a lényege,hogy hiába nem teljes áron próbáljuk ki az éttermet,de ha ilyen pozitív élményben lesz részünk,akkor teljes áron az étlapról rendelve is visszatérünk. Nekünk egészen biztosan a YAMA lett az egyik új kedvencünk. Köszi az élményt,még találkozunk!

A személyzet nagyon profi volt. Már az ajtóban kedves fogadtatást kaptunk, és az este folyamán is többször érdeklődtek, hogy érezzük magunkat, hogy ízlettek a fogások. Az ételek nagyon finomak voltak és csoda szép volt a tálalás. Biztosan visszatérünk még!

A legnagyobb odafigyeléssel szolgáltak ki minket, a pincérek nagyon figyelmesek és kedvesek voltak. Az ételek is igazán ízletesek voltak. Egyedül a sushival lehettek volna merészebbek, hiszen ez a kínàlatuk egy nagy részét teszi ki.

Our overall experience was good, but I felt like they are trying to get us to finish very fast. The next dish was served 30 seconds after we finished the previous one. So it felt a bit like we are a burden for the restaurant.
