MÁK restaurant in Budapest

Hárman ebédeltünk. A kiszolgálás rendben volt, és remek volt.. ételek közül volt ami nagyon ízlett és volt ami nem volt olyan, amit érdemes volt, szerintem, komoly munkával megalkotni.. pl füstölt répa. Leves langyos volt.. az ételek hőmérséklete, szinte mind, nem volt megfelelő.. Remek volt a karaj, de nem volt az sem igazán meleg, pedig a konyha előtt ültünk.. Az étteremben a fűtést nem sokkal korábban indíthatták el, mert ketten nem vettük le a kabátot magunkról, úgy ebédeltünk..

Nem az első alkalom volt, hogy ellátogattunk a Mákba és nem is az utolsó! Minden téren profik.

This restaurant is incredible! Dishes were perfect with an impressive attention to details. Probably MAK has one of the most professional service that we have found in the last few years. Thanks for all! We hope MAK will be starred soon!

My first time at MAK, great place, laid back atmosphere, I felt kind of home from the beginning, till the end. Great 5 course menu with complex flavours. Nice and fun wine pairing. A little chat with the waiters at the end completed the great experience. Just go there it’s great.

Mak restaurant offered 3, 4 & 5 courses tasting menu's for restaurant week. My experience was that the restaurant took very seriously the opportunity to wow diners, starting with a friendly welcome and exemplary service, which was both warm & welcoming, but also professional at the same time. The courses were a wonderful opportunity to experience a taste of the dishes and were well curated. I am happy that I opted for the 5 courses as it provided more of the experience of the tasting menu and gave a broader perspective of the chef's capabilities. They also added some amuse-bouches which complemented the tasting menu courses with a gifted fusion of tastes. If restaurant week is designed to tempt guests to return for a later meal, Mak had me persuaded! Excellent!
